Happy “Talk Like A Pirate Day!”

Ahoy Matey! Today is International Talk Like A Pirate Day!

Every September 19th, all men, women, and children arrr required by law to talk like pirates. If ye fail, then ye shall walk the plank. So pour ye a bowl of Crunch Berries to prevent scurvy, play some Spongebob on the telly, and when someone requests your assistance, greet them with a hearty Ay Ay Cap’n!

By the powers, speaking like a pirate is no more required than shooting off fireworks on July 4th or handing out presents at Christmas, but does ye really want to be a spoilsport during this joyful celebration of pirate lingo? Didn’t think so!

I was going to celebrate the occasion by taking my kid to see a pirate movie. Unfortunately he couldn’t go because it was rated Arrrrrr! Shiver me timbers!

Here are some sites to visit for Talk Like A Pirate Day:

Pirate Cats – Kitties with eyepatches, Myarr..

What I love about blogs is that they spark an idea in my brain. When that happens, I feel as I need to comment with the hope it may be interesting to some people. Because there are lots of blogs and forums with many points of view, they question your comprehension. It is at these moments when you have valuable insignt other people might not have had, together with the blogger him/herself. I find myself coming back to to your writings only because you have several very good insights and also you have been at this a very long time, that is very inspiring and tells me you know your stuff. Keep triggering imagination in others!
