The NY Post published a cartoon by artist Sean Delonas, depicting a chimpanzee that had been shot to death by two police officers. One of the officers turns to the other and says, “They’ll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill.”
Now, Al Sharpton and many of his people are up in arms demanding a boycott of the Post and Read the rest of this entry »

Many people have been concentrating on the historic aspect of electing a black president. Really, I think most younger Americans don’t see white and black Americans. That is why the vast majority of younger Americans voted for Obama. Not because he is black, but rather because Read the rest of this entry »

Microsoft Office has had an optional built-in OCR function since 2001. To use OCR in Windows 98, XP, or Vista, go to Start / Programs / Microsoft Office / Office Tools / Microsoft Office Document Scanning (MODS) to scan documents and have the text automatically interpreted. If you are just going to use OCR with an existing TIFF or MDI file, you can Read the rest of this entry »

John McCain’s idea to pick a female running mate was good, but his particular choice was not. With Sarah Palin as his current running mate, McCain knows he will get votes from all the Hillary supporters who want to vote for a female, but know nothing about politics.
Hillary supporters who understand politics and care about our country will not be swayed. I will admit, I would vote for Sarah Palin in a heartbeat if she were running against John McCain. However, as McCain’s partner-in-crime, Palin will only help continue Read the rest of this entry »
