Numerous comedic avocations have revolved around extraterrestrials throughout the years. From The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy to television’s Coneheads, many artists and writers have used space aliens as a means of poking fun at the cultures and traditions of the human race. It is about time that a talented artist created a farcical group of aliens in a comic strip format.

The Lunar Antics Presents: Boy, I’d Hate To Be Made Out Of That Stuff is a book of comic strips by Robert Walters.  In this large, softcover publication, moonmen (and a moongirl)  land on Earth and take refuge with a college music professor. The aliens look similar to human beings, except they have antennas and all dress alike. The more these spacepeople learn about humanity, the more ridiculous our way of life appears to be.

Walters never runs out of human customs and traditions to satire in over 100 pages of lunar lunacy. Mustaches, credit cards, television, psychics, dieting, and relationships are all mocked and lampooned. The humor is suitable for all ages, but older children and adults will enjoy it most.
