Fridays are a day to celebrate followers. Join one of the many Google Friend Connect Follow parties and introduce yourself to some new blogs. Friday Follow memes are an excellent way to increase your GFC Following. All you have to do is visit the sites, include their buttons (usually) and add your blog to the linkys. Then, when somebody follows you and leaves a comment, follow them back. Through these Friday memes, I have gained numerous followers and found many blogs that I now read regularly. Join the fun and be sure to comment!

    

Friday is my Blog Hop Day! Check out all these blog hops to find great new blogs to follow, and hopefully gain some new followers in the process. As always, if you follow me, leave a comment here or any other non-giveaway post and I will follow you back.

Sometimes it takes a few days because I get lost reading blog entries on a few new commenters’ blogs, and run out of time to visit everyone right away. However, I will make it over to your blog to follow-back and will try to leave a comment unless I am completely swamped between work, kids, posting, reading, and miscellaneous activities . Whew, quite a few Friday follow-back linkys popped up after the original and very successful Friday Follow went kaput for an entire week. Like everyone else, I thought Friday Follow was over, so I began participating in several of the new ones. Then Friday Follow not only came back, but they bought their own domain as well.

Some of the new linkys quit immediate, but some are going strong with participants growing. These new linkys have every right to stick around and personally I am proud to add my name to several of them. Friendly Friday was founded by one of my favorite giveaway blogs Thanks, Mail Carrier and two other worthy blogs, Frugal Novice and Healthy Home Blog.

Perhaps the cutest button in the bunch belongs to Blog-Hop Friday. This is a well moderated linky hosted by My New Life As A Mom and five other blogs. This is a smaller list than the first two I mentioned, but the smaller the group, the more each blog stands out. Plus, the button is adorable as you can see so who wouldn’t want to sport it on their blog?

The smallest of the Friday-Follow-type linkys is Friendly Friday Follower, hosted by Toddler Awesome. As of this blog post, there are only 18 participants this week. I plan on being number 19, but I may have taken too long writing this. The number of Friendly Friday Followers is sure to grow so the sooner you join in, the more you will stand out with a high position on the list.

There are several other linkys with the same concept, but these are the only four I am participating in this week.  As always, you can follow me on GFC or Twitter any day of the week and if you leave a comment on a non-giveaway post telling me, I will follow you back. I want to conclude by wishing everyone a Happy Friday, whether you participate in all of these linkys, a few of them, or none of them at all.
