Sam’s Club and General Mills are having a Back To School Event from Aug. 11 through Aug. 31! During this event, participating General Mills products will each contain 6 Box Tops to help Sam’s Club shoppers like myself, earn more cash for our schools.

Box Tops 4 Education has raised over $300 million since the programs inception in 1996. Over 90,000 schools have benefited including public schools, private schools and even homeschool co-ops! If you do not currently collect box-tops for schools, this event is a great time to start.

Some great deals for extra box-tops from General Mills include a 32 ct. Go-Gurt® Yogurt Variety Pack for $6.98. An 8-ct box has a suggested retail price of $2.89, so besides helping a school, we get a nice savings from Sam’s Club.

I’m eating a Nature Valley® Sweet & Salty Nut granola bar right now. The peanut butter coating and balanced sweet and salty flavor makes this item a staple in our house. The suggested retail price for a 6ct box is $2.89 but I have bought boxes on sale for as little as $2.00. However, at my local Sam’s Club, they offer 30ct boxes for only $8.47. That is less costly than any price that I have seen at any other establishment. To sweeten the deal (pun intended) they come with six box-tops to help your favorite school purchase supplies

On November 6th, Disney’s A Christmas Carol is coming to your local cinema. And of course The Twilight Saga: New Moon will be in theaters everywhere on November 20th!
