*closed* Triaminic Giveaway (3 Win) + Review of The Cold and Flu Symptom Tracker

Jan 25th, 2010 Posted in Giveaways, Reviews | 150 comments »

It seems that everyone has been getting sick lately. A few weeks ago a rather horrendous cold recently made my entire family ill. I wish I had known about Triaminic’s Cold and Flu Symptom Tracker before going out to so many places and letting my children contract this ailment. It may have saved my family from a lot of discomfort.

Triaminic Cold and Flu TrackerAfter searching for my city using Triaminic’s Cold and Flu Symptom Tracker, I learned that our family was far from alone with our illness. In fact, our town had the highest rate for cold and flu in the state of Indiana!

The Triaminic Cold and Flu Symptom Tracker allows users to select their state and monitor the incidences of cold and flu in their area. This information can be used to help people determine their risk of catching a cold. Additionally, the utility will soon be tracking searches for cold and flu related terms across social networks and popular search engines. The Tracker is part of a more comprehensive service from Triaminic called Tips For Mom.

Triaminic LogoThe Cold and Flu Tracker is an excellent resource on its own, but the other linked pages are equally great to keep available for future reference. These pages include sick-day guidelines, cold and cough facts, flu prevention tips, cold and flu treatment options, and an allergy guide. I am bookmarking the Triaminic’s Tips For Mom website and am also recommending it to all of my friends, family, and readers (that’s you!). The website has already benefited my family.

By looking at the Tracker results, I became aware that cold and flu was affecting over 15% of my city. A few clicks later, I was browsing a selection of great tips to keep my family healthy during this season of sickness. The next time one of my children feels ill, I can check the sick-day guidelines before deciding whether to send them off to an organized activity.

The Sick-Day Guidelines were created out of a partnership between Triaminic® and the National Association of School Nurses (NASN). In fact, all of the material on the site is backed up and footnoted with other trustworthy sources. A massive amount of information is available on Triaminic’s Tips For Mom , making it an excellent first-stop resource for people with cold and flu related questions.

Despite the abundance of information available on their website, Triaminic’sTriaminic Thin Strips Box Tips For Mom is surprisingly easy to navigate. The pages are well organized using friendly colors and large tabs.  The design is visually appealing, but it is obvious that the main emphasis is on relevant content and ease of use. After browsing the selection of tips, I am glad that I clicked the product link to read about Triaminic’s vast selection of products.

For clicking the product link, I was rewarded with a printable coupon for $1.50 off any Triaminic product! If you have been wanting to try out the Triaminic Thin-Strips this is the perfect opportunity! A pack of 14 are on sale for only $4.54 at Target this week, so with the coupon you will only pay around $3.00! Thanks to the awesome people at Triaminic, I am able to offer three (3) of my readers a Triaminic Thin Strips prize pack!
