I Wanna Rock Like Twisted Sister In The 1980s
Today, I decided to pick up my deep blue acoustic guitar and strum a few cords.. then rock out to an oldskool song from the greatest hair metal band of them all..Twisted Sister. I remember the old video beginning with the drill sergent teacher asking the slacker kid what he wanted to do with his life. He stands up and tells the class, I WANNA ROCK! Yeah, I was about 7-years old at the time. I didn’t know much about music, but I knew I wanted to rock, and Dee Snider dressed and acted however he wanted which was really cool.
I didn’t grow up to be a rock star, and as you can see I am awful on the guitar. Still, this can be called funny or lame or stupid whatever but I call it a tribute. So here is my tribute to Twisted Sister, acoustic style.
